Ranked Choice Voting

Ranked Choice Voting, or RCV, is a system that fundamentally upends one person, one vote, and yet many lawmakers across the country are proposing this form of voting as the next step in America’s election processes. Ranked Choice Voting is not only confusing but is meant to manufacture a majority instead of allowing Americans to pick one. If enacted, RCV will make further erode transparency in our elections and further frustrate voters already frustrated with a process many already believe to be unfair and untrustworthy. It makes ballots harder to cast, harder to count, and more susceptible to outside influence.
